About us

Seren Bren is run by Levi, who has a real passion for sustainable trees, logs and timber.

He has worked with wood all around the UK for many years, including harvesting and selling Christmas trees for several companies before branching out (sorry) on his own for the first time in 2023.

After a very popular first season, he will be returning to Four Crosses in Menai Bridge to sell the finest Welsh grown Christmas trees.

Why choose us?

Our trees are grown by a family business in Wales. They’re harvested just days before arriving with us, ensuring every tree is as fresh, full, and festive as the season itself.

We stock stunning non-drop firs in a variety of shapes, sizes, and scents (oh yes, the smell of Christmas). Whether you’re after a petite tree for a cozy nook or a towering showstopper, we’ve got you covered. Plus, we love seeing our customers get hands-on – feel free to browse, touch, and find the tree that’s just right for your home.

Our Freshness Guarantee

We’re so confident in the quality of our trees that we promise they’ll look as amazing on Christmas morning as they do the day you pick them. If not? We’ll swap it for a fresh one, no questions asked.

So, come on down and let us help you find the perfect tree to make your Christmas magical. We can’t wait to see you and share some festive cheer this season.

Caring for your tree

Choose the right tree

– Have an idea of the size of tree and where you will put it before visiting.

– The branches of the tree will settle once it is inside, so trees will often be bigger than they look on our stand after a few days!

Preparing the tree

Trim the Trunk: Levi will trim a little bit from the base of the trunk to expose fresh wood; this helps the tree  drink plenty of water and helps to keep it looking it’s best.

Back at home:  If you can bear to wait, it can be very helpful for fresh trees to gradually acclimatise to the temperature of it’s new home by leaving it in a garage or porch for a day or so before putting it up inside. Leave it in a bucket of water to help keep it hydrated.

Once you are ready to take it inside, tap the trunk on the ground outside to help remove any loose needles.

Removing the Net: The quickest way to remove the net from your tree is to lay it on the ground, ideally outside, and straddle it. Start at the trunk and tug the net towards the tip! Once it’s off stand it up and give it a shake.

Positioning the tree

Away from Heat: Keep the tree away from radiators, fireplaces, or direct sunlight to prevent it from drying out. If your tree is quite close to a heat source, consider rotating it occasionally through the festive period to avoid any dry spots.

Stable Stand: Use a sturdy tree stand with a water reservoir.

Watering

The First Drink – The first time you fill your stands reservoir, use lukewarm water and a teaspoon of sugar, or room temperature lemonade. This will remind the tree to drink, and really helps to encourage that fresh tree smell.

Daily Check: Trees can drink a lot of water, especially in the first few days. Refill the reservoir as needed with cold water.
